Reigning Youth World Champion in the A’s Youth class, Gian Stragiotti (SUI), proved a class apart last week as he won both gold fleet races on the final day to win the Europeans by a massive margin. Jan Koszowski (POL) took silver well ahead of Giuseppe Paolillo (ITA) in bronze.

Gian dominated the 4-day championship, winning 11 of the 14 races. Last year’s Youth World Champion Jan had to be content with only 2 wins (bullets).

An impressive development of our young Swiss athlete, considering that last year Gian finished 11th at the A’s World Championships and 10th at the European Championships. We are looking forward to furthering success of our young Swiss talents.
