SST COACH

I graduated from the academy of sports in Ljubljana. As a visiting professor at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, I had the opportunity to teach future sailing coaches.
My main focus 40 years ago was windsurfing, first as an athlete and later as the coach of the Croatian national team.
I started kitesurfing at the beginning of 2000, so I have been with the sport since its inception. Since then, my coaching has been rewarded by three former youth world champions from Croatia and two former youth world champions from Singapore.
Now I am very excited to lead the Swiss youth team to the top of the world kitefoiling.
JOIN THE TEAM
The Swiss Sailing Team AG (SST) has the assignment from Swiss Sailing to recruit and develop young talents along the journey.
Every year SST does rely on new potential youth kiters to join their talent pool. The selection may happen through a talent scout camp which is getting announced by SST.
Once a youth kiter has been selected for the talent pool T1-4 he/she may get access to a Swiss Olympic Talent Card for additional support and the opportunity to join a sports school.
